Aluminium Green is a re-melting plant with a production capacity of 2,800 t/month (30.000 t/year), able to cast billets and ingots, in conformity with the specific international norm.
Total surface of the plant is 15.000 m2 of which 8,000 m2 are covered, it is located in Pralboino, Brescia, 10 km from the Pontevico exit on the highway A21 Brescia-Cremona-Piacenza.
The foundry is equipped with a 60t melting furnace and 30t waiting furnace, characterised by very modern and technological instruments such as the electromagnetical stirrer.
Billets of 7 meters long in the diameters 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 inches, made in alloy 6060, 6063, 6083 and 6005.
The final product has a metallographic structure fit for high speed extrusion and it is free from inclusions, porosities, cracks and surface defects.
